We accept previously uncurated work. Published on personal social media sites is fine.
Simultaneous submissions are fine. No need to mention it, however, please use the Withdraw button in Submittable to withdraw your poem if it's accepted elsewhere.
We typically publish poems with no more than 30 lines for formatting purposes online.
If we have accepted your submission, please wait 12 months before submitting again. If we have declined your submission, please wait 1 month before submitting again.
General Submissions: Response time is 1-2 months.
EXPEDITED response: 2 weeks (10 business days) (Please select the Expedited option in the submission form at the bottom.)
We pay $35 CAD per poem and purchase First Electronic Rights and First North American Rights. We interview all poets on our Substack and occasionally invite selected poets, and according to our production schedule, on our Gather Poets Podcast.
